Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 3, 2026
Business Name: Humby LLC
Website: https://humby.app

Humby LLC (“Humby,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides on-demand roadside battery jump-start services and related customer support. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, request service, communicate with us, or use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

Information you provide

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Vehicle information
  • Service location
  • Billing and payment information
  • Service request details
  • Photos, notes, or messages you send to us
  • Feedback, support requests, or review-related communications

Location information

When you request service, we collect the vehicle or service location you provide. This may include an address, business name, GPS location, nearby landmark, or other information needed to dispatch a service provider.

Payment information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers unless specifically stated by the payment processor.

Communications information

We may collect records of calls, texts, emails, chat messages, service updates, support requests, and related communications.

Website and device information

We may collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referral source, and website usage data through cookies, analytics tools, logs, or similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, schedule, dispatch, and complete roadside service
  • Confirm your service request
  • Send ETA, technician, payment, receipt, and support updates
  • Contact you about an active or past service request
  • Process payments, refunds, authorizations, and receipts
  • Improve safety, fraud prevention, customer support, and service quality
  • Respond to questions, complaints, and support requests
  • Maintain business records
  • Improve our website, booking flow, operations, and marketing
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, insurance, tax, and safety obligations

3. Text Messaging and Phone Communications

Providing your phone number does not automatically opt you in to text messages. We send transactional text messages about your service request only if you affirmatively opt in, such as by checking the consent box when requesting service. If you opt in, you agree to receive text messages and phone calls from Humby related to your service request, account, dispatch, ETA, technician updates, payment, receipts, support, and service follow-up.

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with Humby. For a service request, you may receive multiple messages related to booking, dispatch, ETA, arrival, completion, payment, receipts, support, and follow-up. Message and data rates may apply.

You may reply STOP to cancel text messages. You may reply HELP for help.

If you do not opt in, or if you later opt out, you may still request service. Not receiving text messages may limit our ability to provide real-time service updates. We may still contact you as necessary to complete an active transaction, respond to your request, comply with law, or provide important service-related information through other available channels.

4. No Sharing of Mobile Opt-In Data for Marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to any third party, affiliate, or lead generator for marketing or promotional purposes.

This does not prevent us from using service providers who help us operate our business, such as messaging platforms, payment processors, dispatch tools, customer support tools, hosting providers, analytics providers, or roadside service providers, when those providers use the information only to provide services to Humby.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Roadside service providers, technicians, jumpers, contractors, or tow partners to fulfill your request
  • Payment processors to authorize, process, refund, or verify payments
  • Messaging and communication providers to send service-related texts, calls, or emails
  • Hosting, analytics, customer support, security, and operational vendors
  • Insurance, legal, accounting, tax, compliance, or safety advisors
  • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or government agencies when required or appropriate
  • Another business if needed for a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law

The categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer that information to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Tow Partners and Third-Party Services

If a jump start does not resolve the issue or we cannot safely dispatch a jump-start provider, we may offer to connect you with a tow company or other third-party provider. Those providers may have their own privacy practices and terms. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand website traffic, improve our booking flow, measure campaign performance, and prevent fraud.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

8. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and operate our business.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices

You may:

  • Reply STOP to opt out of text messages
  • Reply HELP for support
  • Contact us to update or delete certain information
  • Disable cookies through your browser
  • Request information about the data we maintain, where required by law

11. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on https://humby.app with a new effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
